CURRICULAM :: Primary I - V



The Board has already recommended that the students should not carry school bags and there should be no homework up to Classes I & II. It has also recommended that a two year profile of the students be maintained for students of Classes I & II and the three year profile be maintained for Classes III-V.
Apart from Maths, English and Hindi, subjects like General Science, Social Studies, Computer, Punjabi (III-V) Physical Education and Environment Education are introduced.
As early as class I, students learn to work on computers through educational CD's, games, Logo, MS-Word, MS-PowerPoint, MS-Excel, Windows and Paints in the Multimedia Lab which has been especially equipped to meet the needs of youngest of learners.
Last but not the least, in order to inculcate moral values and general awareness of the students, inter-active sessions are held in Value Education and General knowledge classes.
The teaching of all the subjects is interactive and activity based and the students are enthusiastic, active participants in the whole learning experience.



CURRICULAM :: Middle VI - VIII


The syllabus becomes more broad based at this level and gradually the young learner is exposed to a wide range of subjects and study material which is suitably graded.The assessment will cover both scholastic and co-scholastic aspects and will be carried out in schools over the two terms, Term 1 and Term 2 by means of Periodic and Term assessments using a variety of written tests, Note Submission and Subject Enrichment.

PERIODIC ASSESSMENT

There will be three Periodical Exam each of with a weighting of 10% each. There are two Terms (Term I and Term II) with a weighting of 80% each.

Periodic Assessment will include two assessmentss conducted in first half and second half of the year.
Date of Periodic Assessments will be announced by the school and mode of assessment will be:
Written Test: 10 Marks
Note Book Submission: 05 Marks
Subject Enrichment: 05 Marks

TERM EXAMINATION

Half Yearly Examination: 80 Marks
Annual Examination: 80 Marks

CURRICULAM :: Senior XI - XII


The School Offers courses in Science and Commerce [Medical and Non-Medical] each of which cover 5 subjects.
The Science Course : English, Physics and Chemistry are the compulsory subjects for the students .
The Medical Stream : This has Biology as the fourth subject while the fifth subject can be Phy. Ed. / Comp. Sci. / Mathametics
The Non Medical Stream : This has fourth subject as Mathematics and the fifth subject can be Phy. Ed. / Comp. Sci.
The Commerce Course : English, Accountancy, Business Studies and Economics are compulsory subjects.
For the fifth and Sixth subject, students have a choice of Mathematics / Phy. Ed. / Information Practices (I.P)

The class XII course culminates in the All India Senior Secondary Examinations, which is also conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education.
